Yankees Sign Beltran to $45 Million Deal

Well, you know what they say? The baseball gods giveth, and they taketh away. After losing Robinson Cano to the Seattle Mariners for the handsome sum of $240 million it would appear as though the New York Yankees might just have to settle for plan B.  And it's not like it's the worst plan B in the history of baseball either. They just signed Carlos Beltran to a three year deal estimated at $45 million, according to USA TODAY Sports. Beltran hit .296 with 84 RBIs and 24 home runs in 145 games with the Saint Louis Cardinals last season.
