With Cavill Out As Superman, Who Should Replace Him?

Henry Cavill will no longer be playing Superman and has decided to part ways with Warner Bros. according to The Hollywood Reporter.

The British actor played Superman in three previous films, 2013’s Man of Steel, 2016’s Batman v. Superman and last year’s Justice League. Contract talks between Cavill’s WME reps and Warners reportedly didn’t work out ending any future potential Superman appearances.

Although this is the case, according to THR’s sources Warners isn’t likely to make a Superman move any time soon, considering the studio has shifted its focus to a Supergirl movie. “Superman is like James Bond, and after a certain run you have to look at new actors,” says a studio source.

Michael B. Jordan is reportedly among actors linked to the iconic role. DC is making it too easy for Marvel.
