Hill has made a name for herself through her individual feats as well as her team accomplishments. She led Grambling to a SWAC title and in January her name went viral when she recorded the first quadruple-double in nearly 25 years in womens basketball in the Lady Tigers win over Alabama State. Her Twitter sits at 10.1K which isn’t bad for a hoops player still trying to complete her undergrad courses.

What an impressive stat line from Grambling State’s Shakayla Hill. Points are usually easy to come by, assist and rebounds next, but the steals have to be the most difficult to get.
The quadruple-double was an accomplishment that only nine players in modern basketball history have duplicated. From there, she was called to Sports Center, which is the official stamp for athletes that they have transcended the game. Hill started receiving shoutouts from NBA legends such as James Harden, Chris Paul and LeBron James, who were touting her as one of college basketballs next hoops celebrity.
