Whoopi Goldberg, Megan Fox, and Will Arnett join the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (TMNT) started off as a rather obscure comic book from the 1990s, but quickly turned into a national phenomenon with several cartoon series and two movies to date.  It was only a matter of time before TMNT was slated to be reborn in the age of movie remakes.

The upcoming film, starring Megan Fox, Alan Ritchson, and Will Arnett features the new TMNTs along with their sensei Splinter. Leaping onto the silver screen once again, this time the evil Foot Clan has New York City locked in an iron grip and no one can wrestle the city free from this nefarious collective. That is, no one but Michael Angelo, Donatello, Leonardo, and Raphael.

Directed by Jonathan Liebesman and produced by Michael Bay, with appearances by Whoopi Goldberg and Johnny Knoxville, this live action version is shaping up to be a wild ride that both older fans and new recruits can get into.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles is slated to be released on August 8, 2014. Check out the trailer below.
