George Karl was named the NBA's Coach of the Year, a bit of a head-scratching vote considering Erik Spolestra wion 67 games and appears well on his way to consecutive championships. He must have been punished for having LeBron James on his team, which is somewhat understandable. But how Tom Thibodeau was overlooked for the job he did without Derrick Rose is mystifying, though I'm sure the fact that his team is still playing is rewarding — and telling — enough.
