Last week on TSL Sports Talk, new head football coach at Grambling State University, and school alum, Broderick Fobbs, joined us to talk about his career and his new role at Grambling. TSL Sports Talk host Mark Gray, opened up the interview by talking to Fobbs about how he felt when all of the issues at Grambling transpired last year.
"I’d be naive to say that I didn’t see it and didn't hear about it. Even though I was at McNeese State University and we had our own coaching opportunity going on, you hear about those things. But that’s not something that I’m focused on. My focus is on 2014 and all of our players are pretty much echoing the same thing. What we firmly believe is: If you look backwards, you’re going to fall over the hurdle that’s in front of you. So we’re just focused on the next hurdle and that next hurdle is training camp."
