The Shadow League’s TSL Comic Book Convo is a day late this week but the delay was worth it as we speak with comic book writer David Walker.

David discusses what it’s like to send our favorite cybernetic brother this side of Deathlok out on a grand new adventure that features the intergalactic, techno-organic alien race, the Technosapiens, and a whole new look at the people surrounding the man, the myth, the legend that is young Vic Stone.

In this book we get to see Cyborg beyond The Justice League, beyond the Teen Titans and out on his own. We also chat it up a bit about his road to DC Comics, the work he did on the Shaft comic book published by Dynamite Comics, and the dynamics at play between writer and artist on a high-quality book. Best 30 minutes of the day. Okay, Top Ten Best 30 Minutes. Top 100 maybe?

Don’t forget to hit up the gallery below for some examples of the fine work being done by Cyborg’s penciller Ivan Reis, inker Joe Prado, and colorist Adriano Lucas, as well as work from Dynamite Comic’s Shaft title, which is slated to be released as a volume in October, and cover art from last year's Adventures of Darius Logan: Super Justice Force.
