Thunder Narrowly Escape Lob-City With A Win

Russell Westbrook’s double-double of 29 points and 10 assists helped the Oklahoma City Thunder stave off a Los Angeles Clippers comeback attempt in a 108-104 victory.

Kevin Durant was impressive and efficient scoring 35 points on 25 shots.  The win gives OKC a season sweep over L.A. which gives them a significant advantage for playoff seeding.

Clippers were down by as much as 19 but didn’t go quietly. Jamal Crawford gave 20 off the bench, Chris Paul scored 26 with 8 assists and Blake Griffin had 20 with 9 rebounds.

This was a great game with the Clippers showing lots of fight and the Thunder showing the resolve needed to overcome adversity.

We can only hope that this was a playoff preview.
