This Week In Posterizations: Xavier Henry Did Not Take It Easy On Jeff Withey

In college Jeff Withey and Xavier Henry were teammates and friends. Henry was a scoring dynamo who left college after his sophomore season. After exhausting his eligibility, Withey was the Big 12's All-time leader in blocks–ahead of lofty company like Greg Ostertag. Henry and Withey's paths crossed again on Tuesday night. It didn't end so well for Withey who tried to take a charge and instead wound up getting hit with friendly fire and landed on GIFS for the rest of his career.

Turns out Henry was preying on Withey.

“I knew it was Jeff,” Henry said afterwards, according to ESPNLA.com. “He decided to take a charge and that wasn’t the right thing for him.”

I still believe the only way to wash the stench of a posterization off is by paying it forward and posterizing someone else. Welcome to the NBA Withey. You've officially been initiated.
