This is a staple of Deadpool comic books and has seamlessly been integrated into the first Deadpool offering, and is crystallized into its purest form with DP2. The dialogue is filled with mentions of comic book origins, power sets and all sorts of things that wouldn’t have otherwise been placed so obviously in the script. I never get tired of it.

As most fans know, Brolin’s role as Thanos in the Avengers: Infinity War has been applauded as perhaps being one of the most well-acted villains of the genre, as well.
