The Extra Point Is No Longer A Given

The NFL’s decision to move the extra point kick from the 2-yard line to the 15-yard line in 2015 seems to be taking its toll on teams this season.

The ineptitude of place kickers reached a record high this Sunday with 12 failed extra point attempts. The previous record for missed PATs in a week was 10 during Week 2 of the 1985 season.
