The Buffalo Bills Fire Rex Ryan

With the end of the season a few days a way, house cleaning in the NFL has already begun, starting in Jacksonville and continuing today in Buffalo as the Bills have announced that they’ve parted ways with head coach Rex Ryan.

After two years, and a record of 15-16, the Bills have decided to fire both Rex and his twin brother Rob (the team’s defensive coordinator) and appoint the team’s OC, Anthony Lynn, as interim head coach. The team plays the Jets in the season finale this weekend.

Rex Ryan has a career head coaching record of 61-66 over eight seasons, and made the playoffs only twice (2009 and 2010 with the Jets).
