First he lost Iggy Azalea and now Swaggy P may be losing his love for Hollywood because according to the Lakers gunner who has never been considered a superstar, he wants to go to a team where he can make the playoffs and compete for a title.

Yes, Swaggy P is another in a long line of veteran players who feel entitled to be able to join a winning situation rather than help make one on their current teams. Very rarely does a player ask to leave an affluent, media capital like Los Angeles, but according to SB Nation, “Young made it sound like the team wants him to opt in to his player option worth approximately $5.6 million this summer.”

“Obviously I had a good year. They was begging me to pretty much stay, but... we’ll see,” Young said, adding that he had to talk to his agent.

“We’re gonna see how it goes,” Young said.

The 10-year veteran is talking like he’s considering leaving his hometown and seeing what’s good in the rest of the hoops world.

“At my age, I don’t know if I want to sit around & wait for another team to progress and grow,” Young said, adding that he hopes to compete for the playoffs.

Whether or not the Lakers reward him with a huge payday for a bounceback 2017 will be the deciding factor.

“L.A. is home, but we’ll see. I’m getting a little older, so I’ve got to make decisions that are right for me and my family,” Young said. “They showed interest, but we’ve got to see who else in free agency out there.”

Always the jokester, Young left the media with something to contemplate when he said with his vintage laugh,  “I’ll see ya’ll when I come play against you next year.”
