Steelers Have A New Defensive Coordinator

As expected, 49-year-old ex-Seahawks player Keith Butler has been chosen to replace Hall of Famer Dick LeBeau as the Steelers defensive coordinator. Butler has been the linebackers coach since 2003 and his promotion shows just how much faith the Steelers have in him. The Steelers have continually blocked teams from talking to Butler in contract negotiations which only further solidifies the confidence they have in the coach. The Steeler's defense are having some growing pains as older guys are getting used to smaller roles while the youthful upstarts such as Ryan Shazier, and Cortez Allen step into the AFC South fire.
