Snoop Lion’s Son Is Being Recruited By Duke

There might not be more stark contrast of cultures than Snoop Lion hitting up Durham, North Carolina to visit Duke.

That's exactly what could happen if Snoop's son, Cordell Broadus, has any interest in the Blue Devils' football team when he's taking recruiting visits.

The younger Broadus is a 6-3 185-pound DB playing for Diamond Bar High School in California and is being recruited by the Blue Devils. He'll be in the class of 2015.

It's a bit hard to believe this will come to fruition simply for the cultural differences, but we don't know anything about the kid and Snoop Lion's new sense of openness and happiness may make anything possible. Still, can you see Snoop sending his son to a school recently outed for throwing “racist ragers,” or that came under fire from students last year for a study that suggested black students switch to easy majors to get by?

By 2015, anything can happen. Broadus might ball out (or bottom out) of the Blue Devils' league. For recruiting visits' sake, let's hope not. They'd probably have similar party theme ideas.

Here's Broadus' highlight tape.
