Snoop Dogg is packing his bags and heading to Australia. The rapper was granted a work permit and permission to enter the country even though there were prevention attempts made by some Australians. Protestors created a petition with more than 3,500 signatures in an attempt to deny the rapper entry due to his misogynistic lyrics and glorification of violence against women.
But all silly things must come to an end. And now, the work permit has been granted so Snoop can perform as the No. 3 headliner at the Big Day Out festival starting January 19 on the Gold Coast. The rapper will then visit four more Australian cities.
