Serena Williams isnt an iconic figure and recognized as the worlds supreme athlete for nothing. Shes been doing extraordinary things and defying odds her entire life. Shes also been expressing her feminine strength and educating people her entire career. 

Serena didnt participate in the recent French Open because she was pregnant with her first child. Instead she watched her sister Venus play and have some success.

Apparently,  Serena hasnt put down the racket altogether and seven months into her pregnancy, her game’s still sharper than Edward Scissorhands, even with a noticeable baby bump. 

 Serena posted an Instagram video feed of herself playing tennis on Thursday.

7 months pregnant American professional tennis player Serena Jameka Williams has proved to the world that’s she is not too weak to play Tennis. The 35-year-old shared her video on a instagram page.This will not be the first time she will be playing while pregnant.

According to the doctors on the Baby Center Medical Advisory Board, Williams’ baby resembles a large eggplant, weighing in at a little over 2 lbs and measuring nearly 15 inches.

Williams has been sharing snapshots of her pregnancy on social media since the middle of April, when she slipped up and announced she was expecting her first child with fianc Alexis Ohanian via Snapchat.

Williams, who is waiting to find out the sex of her baby, confessed in an interview with Gayle King that she had not meant to share the information that soon. 

“Well, actually it was an accident,” she told King at the 2017 TED Talks conference in Vancouver. “I was on vacation just taking some time for myself and I have this thing where Ive been checking my status and taking pictures every week to see how far along Im going,” Williams explained. “I didnt tell a lot of people to be quite honest and Id been saving. Every week I just take a picture and save it and Ive been so good about it and this was the one time I slipped, but its okay.” 

She added, “On social media, you press the wrong button and 30 minutes later I missed four calls and Im like, Thats weird. But it was a good moment. I was only going to wait five or six more days [to tell people].”

Williams never fails to inspire with her actions. She continues to push the envelope on and off the tennis court and exemplifies the all-encompassing fortitude of women across the globe.
