Locker Room Boogie Births A New Hot Dance And Song: The Sean Payton

Now we see why the New Orleans Saints go hard in the paint for their head coach Sean Payton. While standing on the sidelines, he may appear to be a tightly-strung, highly-focused, average caucasian with very little soul brother in him while overseeing a mass of black football players.

But Alvin Kamaras Instagram post of the Saints coach dancing to a Yo Gotti joint after Sundays Wild Card win over the Carolina Panthers  has totally changed the narrative for Payton as a coach.

The tune already has close to 30,000 looks on Soundcloud and it was on repeat in the Saints locker room on Wednesday.

According to ESPN, Linebacker Craig Robertson toured the room with a boombox on his shoulder, blasting the new hit song.

A group of Saints defensive linemen danced along with the song in perfect synchronization, copying and perfecting Paytons money moves.

The “Hit the Sean Payton” song made the rounds on social media Wednesday, from a local kindergarten class to Saints superfan and ESPY winner Jarrius Robertson re-purposing his recent dance with Alabama coach Nick Saban.

“He was like, ‘You know what, I’m gonna show the world my skills,’ and he did,” Saints guard Larry Warford jokes. “[The music video] looked dope. Hopefully we’ll be dancing again after the game. ‘Hit the Sean Payton,’ right?”

Allen capitalized on the momentum with his song and it has captured the optimistic tone of the town and the team, immortalized the coach even further and captivated the ears of NFL fans across the country.

Ill keep it a buck. I didnt even know Payton smiled around his team. I thought he was an all business kind of tight ass. Now we know he definitely has a wild side and it’s obvious why he has great relationship with his players. Paytons latest two-step may have damaged his reputation for being the nerd, genius coach and elevated him past Mike Tomlin to coolest coach in the world.
