Saints Sign Veteran Brandon Marshall To Replace Dez Bryant

Dez Bryant’s Achilles mishap has become Marshall’s ticket back into the NFL.

Wide receiver Brandon Marshall, who was released by the Seahawks earlier this season, has signed a one-year deal with the New Orleans Saints, placing him as close as he’s ever been to  Super Bowl.

Marshall’s had a stellar acreer. His only blemish is that he’s never made the playoffs in 178 career games. In a fortunate twist of events, Dez Bryant’s Achilles mishap has become Marshall’s ticket back into the NFL.

The former Pro Bowl receiver has experienced a lot of glory during his 13-year NFL career. His effort on the field has never been in question and his dedication to the game has always been solid. He’s a borderline Hall of Famer based on his 970 career receptions and 12, 351 receiving yards.

The former Pro Bowl wide receiver is 34 years old and doesn’t have the athleticism or explosiveness of his prime. He is however, a sure-handed receiver, who is good at running routes and can add another dimension to the Saints No. 1 ranked offense with his size and veteran savvy.

The rich get richer.
