If there was any doubt about who the NBA MVP is this season, it was all ended this evening in Denver.

Russell Westbrook, who was guaranteed a triple-double average for the season through his performance on Friday night, took things a step further today against the Denver Nuggets.

With 50 points, 16 rebounds and 10 assists, Westbrook notched his 42nd triple-double of the season and broke Oscar Robinson's record of 41, which "The Big O" set during the 1961-62 season. But he didn't stop there; he then took a pass from Steven Adams with two seconds remaining in the game, and the Thunder down two to the Nuggets, and drained a 36 footer to win the game.

As if the Nuggets needed to become more of a part of Westbrook's record setting evening, the loss also eliminated them from playoff contention.

NBA fans, say hello to your League MVP, Russell Westbrook.
