Rosa Parks Gets 100th Birthday Stamp

Rosa Parks would be 100 on February 4, 2013 and the US Postal Service is honoring that day with a new stamp featuring the civil rights champion.

The official unveiling will take place in Michigan at the Charles H. Wright Museum of African American History in Detroit. Another ceremony will take place at the Henry Ford Museum — where the bus Rosa Parks sat on currently resides — in Dearborn. Activities have been scheduled throughout the day and museums will not charge admission.

You can take a look at the stamp and preoder them here.
