Pebbles Reid, one-time pop music sensation turned record executive, is suing Viacom for the ridiculous amount of $40 million, because of how the cable network’s TLC biopic made her look. Appearing in the film like an evil and dishonest industry predator of dreams, in the suit Reid claims VH1 producers painted an inaccurate picture of her as an individual who cheated three innocent girls and exploited their talent for personal gain. She says producers, “ignored fundamental canons of journalistic and literary conduct by publishing false and defamatory accusations with actual malice.”  Furthermore, Pebbles claims she was honest and provided the group with all they were entitled to.
