NRA Releases Shooter App for Ages 4+

The NRA blames our violent culture — in part — on video games. "Guns don't kill people. Video games, the media and Obama's budget kill people," said NRA VP Wayne LaPierre. What better way for the NRA to combat that culture than with a first-person shooter video game?

The video game, for ages 4 and up, takes place at a shooting range, allowing people to hit targets with an M9 pistol. A Berretta or an AK-47 will cost you 99 cents. The game will also catch you up on your second amendment rights, as well as provide gun tips and other gun facts.

Gun culture isn't going away anytime soon in America — exemplified by the massive surge in NRA membership last month. This, however, feels like an FU move from the NRA (Note the arrogant smirk on the Erich Pratt's face below). What five-year-old needs to feel comfortable with a gun?

But you know what they say. If you can't beat 'em, shoot 'em. Or something like that.
