Mr. Goodell Writes To Washington

Congress doesn't have anything better to do than butt their way into sports because they already know all of their constituents' problems thanks to the brilliant work at the NSA. A few weeks ago, ten members of Congress sent a letter to NFL commish Roger Goodell and asked him to consider changing the name of the Washington Redskins.

Though this issue has surrounded sports for a while, it hasn't made much difference. The Atlanta Braves and Cleveland Indians haven't made nor plan to make any changes to their logos or mascots either.

Here's Goodell's full response to Congress, which was quickly dismissed by two of the Congress people addressed.
