McGregor Still Telling Floyd How He Really Feels: “Fck ‘Em”

Yesterday, Floyd Mayweather told TMZ Sports during a walk-and-talk interview that he wanted Conor McGregor (21-3) to train at his Las Vegas gym ahead of his lightweight title challenge against champion Khabib Nurmagomedov (26-0) at UFC 229 on Oct. 6 at T-Mobile Arena.

I know that UFC has a training facility, but wed like him to work at the Mayweather boxing club, Mayweather said.

The comment came just two days after the one-year anniversary of the Mayweather vs. McGregor “over-match of the century”, which Mayweather won by a 10th-round TKO.

From what I know, (Nurmagomedov is) a hell of a grappler, and he can wrestle, Mayweather said. But you know, the fans want to see you stand up and fight. Thats what they want to see. But Conor McGregors a tough competitor. Conor McGregors not going to back down from anyone. Hes not scared. Hes a warrior.

McGregor fired back rapidly and sharp on Twitter.

Former two-division UFC champion McGregor will return from a more than two-year hiatus in October, when he challenges Khabib Nurmagomedov in attempt to regain the title he never lost but rather was stripped of due to his hiatus from the Octagon.
