The trailer for the latest adaption of a Marvel Comics subject, the Guardians of the Galaxy has been released and it has all the makings of yet another blockbuster franchise gleaned from the color pencil and paint etchings of the venerable comic publishing company. For DC Comics, the subject matters are really predictable. If it’s not a Superman reboot then it’s a Batman reboot. More recently, the Green Lantern adaption was tried. But it was a colossal failure as far as fans were concerned. But Marvel Comics has always featured many more characters with motion picture crossover appeal. The recent success earned by The Avengers film, which featured a litany of characters fighting alongside the ever popular Hulk, Iron Man, Thor and Captain America, is testament to that.
