The rebirth of blatant racism isn’t limited to America and The New Trump Era.
New Orleans Saints running back Mark Ingram and a group of friends -- including teammates Sterling Moore, B.W. Webb, and Vonn Bell -- were apparently turned away from a London club early Tuesday morning for looking too "urban."
I don’t know what the folks in the UK mean exactly, but it reminds me of the old saying that more than three black guys standing on a corner is a mob. Ingram was apparently traveling with some friends and was denied entrance into Cirque le Soir, which is known for hosting some of the biggest celebrities from all over the world.
Dressing too urban can also simply mean that there was a dress code requirement that these guys didn’t meet. In any event, Ingram didn’t seem to take it too personally and he received resounding Twitter support from people of all races and nationalities.
