Beleaguered Clevleand Browns quarterback, Johnny Manziel is out for the rest of the season because of a hamstring injury. Even worse for the Browns, former starter Brian Hoyer is out with a shoulder injury.

This means rookie Connor Shaw out of South Carolina may get some playing time even though the Browns offered a contract to former Washington Redskins Rex Grossman. He declined the Brown's offer of what would have been a $53,539 .41 offer as their starting quarterback for their last game  against the Ravens. This is even more interesting because the Browns cut Grossman in training camp. Apparently Grossman was kite surfing with his family in Palm Beach when he got the offer. He obviously thinks a vacation with his family would be more relaxing than playing against the hungry Ravens fighting for a playoff spot.
