Mahershala Ali Digs Deep in Season 3 of True Detectives

True Detective started off with a bang as Woody Harrelson and McConaughey wowed audiences with their skills as buddy cops trying to solve a series of heinous happenings.  Season 3 returns to HBO in January 2019 and producers are trying to recapture the magic that was originally sprinkled all over the first offering with sizzling-hot actor Mahershala Ali in the starring role.

Ali, whose resume seems to expand exponentially every time you look at his IMDB profile, has the chops to pull off a multitude of emotions, reactions and interactions the likes of which very few can match.

This Is Us star Lonnie Chavis will play the same character at age 12. Carmen Ejogo, Scoot McNairy, Stephen Dorff, Mamie Gummer and Brandon Flynn round out what appears to be a dynamic cast of highly-skilled creatives.
