Live Video Chat Coverage Of Canelo vs GGG Tonight With Rhett Butler

Tonight TSL combat sports journalist Rhett Butler will be reporting live from the T-Mobile Arena for the Canelo Alvarez vs. Gennady “GGG” Golovkin fight. The epic coverage will be broadcast live through our partners at the innovative new digital platform SportsCastr Live, which streams HD-quality video live with a single click.

You can watch the broadcast below, starting on 9pm EST/6pm PST:

Rhett will start tonight’s coverage with Diego De La Hoya vs. Ryan Caballero, battling for the NABF and vacant NABO super bantamweight titles. The two fighters are both undefeated.

This fight became more heated when De La Hoya initiated a head bumping session that had to be broken up by their respective handlers. No doubt, De La Hoya is trying to get out of the shadow of his famous 10-time world champion promoter and cousin, Oscar de la Hoya.

The co-main event features a WBC featherweight title eliminator between Rafael Rivera and Joseph “Jo Jo” Diaz, Jr. who will both be trying to get a shot at Gary Russell, Jr.’s belt. This division has been heating up and it will be a quick-paced battle to reach the kingpin of the division.

In the main event, a true showdown between the top two fighters in the world will finally be given to the fans. GGG has repeatedly assured fans that this fight will be a gift to them, and judging by how they looked at yesterday’s weigh-in, rest assured they’re both looking for a knockout. Canelo has learned a lot since his loss to Floyd Mayweather and is a completely different fighter. He is the franchise of lead promoter, Golden Boy, and with this being Mexican Independence Weekend, all the pressure is on him.

But GGG is undefeated and is looked at as the best KO artist in the game; ask David Lemieux about the GGG jab that he was eating all night in route to an eighth round TKO. He has never tasted defeat as a professional and that is as big a driving force as any in the high-stakes game of boxing.

Tune in tonight!
