Former Eagles, and current Buffalo Bills, running back LeSean McCoy could be facing assault charges after an incident earlier this morning in Philadelphia.
According to Philly.com, McCoy, former Chargers running back Curtis Brinkley and two other men got into a dispute with the officers over a bottle of champagne. The incident, which occured inside of the Old City nightclub Recess, erupted into a fight and led to one cop being sent to the hospital with a possible skull fracture, while another ended up with a broken nose, broken rib, an eye laceration and a sprained thumb.
The Bills released the following statement:
We are aware of the reports regarding LeSean McCoy and in the process of gathering more information. We will not provide any further comment at this time.
