Larry Fitzgerald Returns For A 15th NFL Season

Larry Fitzgerald is quite the golfer as evidenced by his Pro-Am team title at Pebble Beach last week. Hes not ready, however, to hang up his cleats and the Arizona Cardinals All-Pro wide receiver will return to the team for the 2018 season, the team announced Thursday.

Larry Fitzgerald will return to Cardinals in 2018 for his 15th season, per @Cardschatter

Fitzgerald is entering his 15th NFL season, all with the Cardinals. Its been a remarkable and rare run with one franchise that has produced 11 Pro Bowls for an all-time great who is the NFL’s active leader in catches (1,234), receiving yards (15,545), and is second behind Antonio Gates in touchdown receptions (110).

If Fitzgerald was considering retirement, his 2017 campaign didnt show any signs of him slowing down. Doesnt matter what faceless QB is tossing the rock, Fitz will get his numbers. He caught 109 passes for 1,156 yards and six TDs playing in an offense that ranked 22nd in the NFL.

The future Hall of Famer will be back to boost a Cardinals team in transition.
