Kelvin Benjamin May Be Taking His Talents To The Pros

According to the Palm Beach Post's Tom D'Angelo Florida State redshirt sophomore receiver Kelvin Benjamin has made the decision to enter the 2014 NFL Draft. Benjamin was one of the most unique receivers in college football this season because of his musclebound 6-5, 234 pound frame. In the redzone he was indefensible as evidence by the national championship-winning pass he hauled in over Auburn cornerback Chris Davis Jr.

In his first full season as a primary receiver Benjamin caught 54 passes, a team-high 15 touchdowns and was one of three Seminole receivers to surpass 900 receiving yards. He's projected as the second rated receiver in the upcoming draft. However, his size doesn't automatically mean he'll become a sought after prospect in the league. He's not Calvin Johnson, but he could be great. How well he performs at the combine, runs routes and runs his 40 will be scrutinized.  For every Alshon Jeffery there is a Mike Williams so draft carefully.
