Jimmy Fallon’s Emotional Open On Charlottesville, Trump And Racism

The events in Charlottesville touched almost everyone across the world, no matter your political affiliation, social status or namesake. For parents, having to see those events on TV, or actually witness them in person, it stirs up different types of reactions where you immediately think about your children and their future in a country so torn apart.

Last night on The Tonight Show, Jimmy Fallon abandoned his normal comedic opening monologue to sincerely express his feelings on Charlottesville, his daughters, the racism that’s plaguing on our country in these times of Trump and that people, “especially white people,” must take a stand against racism.
