James Harden Makes NBA History With The First 60 Point Triple Double

We’ve seen some amazing performances from James Harden, including last season when he became the first player in NBA history to amass 2,000 point, 900 assists and 600 rebounds in a single season, all while leading the league in assists. At the end of the 2016-2017 season, Harden finished with a season average of 29.1 points, 11.2 assists and 8.1 rebounds.

This season, Harden is back at it again, averaging 30.9 points, 9.0 assists and 4.9 rebounds a game. And tonight Harden entered the record books again when he became the first player in NBA history to record a 60 point triple double.

In the Rockets 114-107 win over the Magic, Harden went for 60 points, 11 assists and 10 rebounds, while going 19-30 from the field and 17-18 from the line. He punctuated the night with this ridiculous, game sealing step-back three.
