Jadeveon Clowney’s father arrested for attempted murder

Father of Houston Texans defensive end Jadeveon Clowney, David Morgan, was denied bond earlier today after being charged with two punts of attempted murder at a bar on Rock Hill, SC.

Charges against Morgan, 45, included possession of a weapon during a violent act, possession of a firearm by someone convicted of a violent crime and also carrying a pistol unlawfully.

Police reports say Morgan became upset after being removed from the bar for allegedly sitting on a stage and acting disorderly. Later he was seen near the rear of the property where he initiated a shoutout with a Braxton Homesley.

Clowney, the Texans first round draft pick, just any seem to catch a break. With a budding career full of injuries and setbacks this just seems to be another distraction and obstacle for a career that has yet to really gain any traction.
