J. Cole And Drake Do Their Best To Help Born Sinner Topple Yeezus

J. Cole moved his release date up a week to compete with Kanye West, but it looks like Cole and Drake's best efforts won't be enough to topple Yeezus. Cole's sophomore album, Born Sinner is projected to sell 290,000 copies in the first week, while Yeezus is looking at 380,000.

Both albums leaked early but it looks like Kanye's album took the bigger hit as it was expected to sell around 500,000 copies. Though Cole will be disappointed not to win, the margin in which he came second was much closer than predicted and his sales numbers went as expected.
