“Hypothetical” Murderer OJ Simpson Criticizes Kaepernick’s Protest

Free agent QB Colin Kaepernick has been criticized by a wide variety of people for his peaceful protest of racial inequality and police brutality, but did anyone have OJ Simpson chiming in on this discussion? Well apparently the Juice felt the need to drop his two cents into the conversation.

Simpson told the Buffalo News he aligns with Trump ideologically when it comes to these protests.

I think Colin made a mistake,” Simpson said. “I really appreciate what he was trying to say. I thought he made a bad choice in attacking the flag.

OJ continued his criticism of Kap with more misconceptions.

I grew up at a time when deacons were in the KKK. I don’t disrespect the Bible because of those guys. The flag shouldn’t be disrespected because of what cops do. The flag represents what we want America to be.

“Attacking the flag” is a disingenuous description for how Kaepernick and a number of other NFL players decided to protest inequality and social injustice. The quarterback has been very clear about the purpose of his mission when he initially started this movement.

In the interview, Simpson continued to explain why he believes Kaepernick went about his movement in the wrong way.

When he did it the first time,” Simpson said, “I thought, ‘Well, you took a gamble, and I give you credit.’ But it was him continuing to do it where he made the biggest mistake. I’m a firm believer of doing what you think is right, but I would always stand for the flag.

This is the second time Simpson has made the news this week. On Monday, March 11th, a never-before seen 2006 interview surfaced where he, among other things, describes in very graphic, detailed language, the “hypothetic” killing of Nicole Brown Simpson and Ron Goldman.

After his attempt to appeal to the Hip-Hop community for help, his time in jail and his “hypothetical” murder interview, rest assured Kaepernick won’t be taking advice from this man too seriously.
