Florida A&M graduate Brandi Mitchell is crafting a documentary that is long overdue. As the director of Point and Drive, the film gives viewers a look into the world of marching bands, its influence on those who join, and how this piece of Americana has grown to what it is today.
As a former member of the Rattlers’ marching band at FAMU, Mitchell brings genuine insight with featured documentary pieces giving former band members moments to share their success stories inspired by those who’ve been members of the Rattlers. In an effort to drive funds to the project described as ESPN’s 30 for 30 meets Drumline Mitchell launches an Indiegogo Campaign from March 3 through March 31 at igg.me/at/pointanddrivemovie.
