Google is planning some big things for the near future. In addition to Google Glass, a robotic-looking mini computer disguised in a pair of glasses, the tech juggernaut is also going to release a wristwatch and video game console powered by its Android software.
This recent influx of Google hardware shows it's trying to get the most out of its successful Android platform as possible, moving beyond the smartphone and tablet market. Plus, reports say the Internet giant wants to get the jump on Apple, who may release similar devices later on.
The console probably won't compete with the likes of PS4, Xbox One or Wii U, but the fact that Google is getting involved in established industries proves it ain't messin' around.
