Good Morning: Verlander Didn’t Just Get It Done, He Nearly Threw Another No-No

Justin Verlander did his thing once again for the Detroit Tigers, carrying a no-no in to the seventh inning, as the Tigers advanced to the ALCS against the Red Sox with a 3-0 won.

 

Eli Manning lost another interception-ridden game as the New York Giants fell to 0-6 on the season after a 27-21 loss to the Chicago Bears. 

"I feel bad for my teammates. I feel bad for my coaches. Everybody is fighting every day. I’m fighting, too. I’m trying to get a win for these guys. It’s tough. It’s tough at times when you don’t feel like you are playing your best.”
