Good Morning: Jim Leyland Found Detroit’s Offense

The Detroit Tigers avoided a huge hole to even the series at 2-2, thanks to a shrewd move from manager Jim Leyland. He slid his struggling, young outfielder Austin Jackson down to eighth in the order, where he was finally able to relax and hit the ball hard.

"I think after I'd seen a couple of pitches I was able to kind of just take some deep breaths and relax a little bit — and not worry so much about the result, just try to get a good pitch," said Jackson.

The Tigers went on to win 7-3 as the series heads back to Boston.
