Good Morning: Floyd Mayweather Destroys Purse Record In Alvarez Fight

Floyd Mayweather will make at least $41.5 million for his upcoming Sept 14th fight against Saul "Canelo" Alvarez, flying past the previous record of $32 million, which he set against Miguel Cotto and matched against Robert Guerrero. Floyd could make more money from the pay-per-views, as the fight is expected to break the all-time PPV mark of 2.44 million, which he set in his fight against Oscar De La Hoya. The fight already set a high mark for selling tickets, raking in $19.1 million. Plus, we don't know how much Floyd bets on himself at Vegas. At any rate, Floyd Mayweather will make $73.5 million this year from 24 rounds of boxing.
