Donald Trump Wages War With LaVar Ball, But He’s Cool With Pedophiles

Demagoguery is one of most subversive words in the English language.  Unfortunately, it is also by this method that political pimps have operated since time immortal.

Donald Trump has used this method to rile his respective political base since his campaign kicked into full gear two years ago. Indeed, it is very easy to say that labeling the president as such is of the mindset of the loser feasting on a vine of sour grapes.

However every day, we awake to yet another example of this practice. For exhibits A-through-G we can discern that it is no dishonor to call him exactly what he is.  From Mexican immigrants, Black Lives Matter through transgender rights, Trump continually sputters the acidic spit of a basilisk at every American demographic to which he, at best, is apathetic to.

At this point, we can no longer even give him the benefit of the doubt as he continues to nominate white men to federal court at a rate not seen in 30 years.

LaVar Ball: What did Trump do to help me?

LaVar Ball, the father of one of the three UCLA basketball players held in China after they were accused of shoplifting, speaks to CNN’s Chris Cuomo in a heated interview about his response to President Donald Trump’s tweets about the incident.

With the highly publicized back-and-forth Twitter fight between him and LaVar Ball, father of Los Angeles Lakers rookie Lonzo, UCLA freshman LiAngelo and high school sensation LaMelo, we see that this president is everything but presidential.

After years of painfully slow progress for people of African descent in America, we now have a man in office whose singular mission appears to be the dismantling of social and economic progress made by President Barack H. Obamaa black man. In the mind of a white supremacist hell-bent on continuing the subjugation and marginalization of various peoples, Obama’s legacy is apparently too much to bear.

Although the term white supremacy was in vogue for the greater part of the last two years, it has worn out its welcome in mainstream media outlets, and some black media outlets, as well.

But what other term can be used to describe a paradigm in which the leading man in the U.S. governmental apparatus shuns and defames the intentions of anyone who isnt a straight white male?   Like his unwavering support of accused pedophile Roy Moore, for example.

President Donald Trump On Roy Moore: ‘We Don’t Need A Liberal’ In Alabama Senate Seat | NBC News

President Donald Trump says Alabama Senate candidate Roy Moore has denied sexual abuse allegations but, commenting on other allegations as a whole, says “it’s a very special time” for women. ” Subscribe to NBC News: http://nbcnews.to/SubscribeToNBC ” Watch more NBC video: http://bit.ly/MoreNBCNews NBC News is a leading source of global news and information.

Trump has shown multiple times that his fervor has been so hot toward black people in general that its temperature needs to be measured in Kelvin instead of Fahrenheit.

Lets see, he gives Roy Moore a pass and nominates Brett J. Talley to be a federal judge in Alabama, despite the fact that he has never tried a case, was unanimously rated not qualified by the American Bar Associations judicial rating committee and has practiced law for only three years. The scary part above and beyond the farcical nomination was the fact that the Senate Judiciary Committee, on a party-line vote, approved Talley for a lifetime appointment to the federal bench.

Trump has also shown that he has very little patience for black people that call him out on his sh*t.   ESPNs Jemelle Hill, former national security adviser Susan Rice, veteran Urban Radio Network political journalist April Ryan and war widow Myeshia Johnson have all come under fire from the White House for simply exercising their right to free speech which includes criticizing political leaders.  In fact, the ability to criticize leadership is what this right was placed in the Constitution of the United States for in the first place.

There is only one thing in common with: Barack Obama Sgt La David Johnson Myeshia Johnson Congresswoman Wilson Merck CEO Ken Frazier ESPN’s Jemele Hill Colin Kaepernick Stephen Curry Central Park Five They’ve all been attacked by a White Supremacist named Donald Trump.

Indeed, sisters from all over the place have found themselves disrespected, harassed and, in the case of Hill, faced repercussions from their employers. And though there have been many instances of black men falling under his wrath, the majority of them are athletes. Overwhelmingly so.

Trump has been criticized by San Antonio Spurs head coach Gregg Popovich and Golden State Warriors head coach Steve Kerr on multiple occasions.  However, his ire hasnt fallen upon them.  Not even once.

Yet, he has called players who engaged in NFL protests, as well as anyone who supports them, sons of bitches on more than one occasion.  Lest we forget his personal war against Colin Kaepernick, and those in the NFL he feels have enabled the protests via inaction.

Wouldnt you love to see one of these NFL owners, when somebody disrespects our flag, to say, Get that son of a bitch off the field right now, out. Hes fired, Trump said at an Alabama rally.

Trump: ‘Get that son-of-a-b**** off the field’

While in Huntsville, Alabama, President Trump said, ‘Wouldn’t you love to see one of these NFL owners, when somebody disrespects our flag, to say, ‘get that son-of-a-b**** off the field right now, out. He’s fired.”

The most recent target that he has reveled in addressing has been LaVar Ball, and Trump has taken to his self-appointed task with great vigor.

To be certain, Im no ones political pundit.  But the political nature of his dealings with black folks who come for him cannot be overemphasized.  Just in case you think these to be the musings of a disenfranchised brother with an ax to grind, I offer you a list of tweets directed at Ball since he came out on Twitter and in the media, doubting Trumps hand in freeing his son LiAngelo, as well as two other UCLA basketball players, after they were caught shoplifting in China while on an exhibition tour of Shanghai and the surrounding area.

It wasn’t the White House, it wasn’t the State Department, it wasn’t father LaVar’s so-called people on the ground in China that got his son out of a long term prison sentence – IT WAS ME. Too bad! LaVar is just a poor man’s version of Don King, but without the hair.

LaVar, you could have spent the next 5 to 10 years during Thanksgiving with your son in China, but no NBA contract to support you. But remember LaVar, shoplifting is NOT a little thing. It’s a really big deal, especially in China. Ungrateful fool!

Trump went on Twitter to express doubt that the young men would thank him for freeing them.  Like, why would a president need to be thanked for doing something presidential to get Americans out of a jam? They did, by the way.

He comes off as a petty narcissist who is convinced of the golden importance of his words, which tend to be nothing more than malodorous excreta spewed only to make himself look better.  Make no mistake, Black people in America are one of its most politically-detached ethnic groups.  When Trump comes for Black folks, there are very few in positions of power who can speak up.

Sure, you have African-American women journalists, senators and congresswomen who have been taking it to the Trump administrations doorstep at every opportunity. But they are limited in their abilities without a broader consensus of Americans acting upon the information gleaned from the ramblings and incompetence of Trump.

Country, region, origin, gender, religion and class splinters would-be allies within the African American community, and this is triply so when reaching out to form coalitions with others from different cultural and ethnic perspectives.  Even within so-called progressive political coalitions, ancient attitudes regarding race, class and gender come into play.  This dynamic causes a weakening of the tendons that would hold alliances of disenfranchised others together  for a common cause.

The president, undoubtedly, knows this. The recent history of the Republican Party is littered with instances of GOP party members using racism, sexism and hatred to further their agenda.  This is why Trump didn’t criticize white supremacists and Nazis who caused violence in Charlottesville, Virginia, why he refuses to call white males involved in mass shootings terrorists, and why he has never spoken out against any non-political white man who has come for him.

Marshawn Lynch of the NFL’s Oakland Raiders stands for the Mexican Anthem and sits down to boos for our National Anthem. Great disrespect! Next time NFL should suspend him for remainder of season. Attendance and ratings way down.

Trump took to Ball yet again after the latter’s appearance on CNN, calling Ball an ‘ungrateful fool’ and a ‘poor man’s Don King’.

LaVar Ball might be as big an opportunist as Trump himself, and likely revels in the idea that he can get the goat of a sitting president. But, it’s deeper than LaVar Ball (Nino Brown voice).

This is about playing up to an irrationally scared, armed and edgy constituency that sees diversity and inclusion as an affront to their privilege.

And that, ladies and gentlemen, is why he is the biggest American demagogue since Richard Nixon, but he’s not nearly as smart.  Intelligence alludes to guile, stealth and cleverness, of which Trump has none.
