Dallas Cowboys’ Joseph Randle Arrested For Shoplifting

Cowboys' backup running back Joseph Randle was arrested for shoplifting on Tuesday. He was charged with a class B misdemeanor (theft of an item/items with a worth of 50-500 dollars). Randle was accused of taking $123 dollars worth of cologne and underwear from a department store in a Dallas suburb. The arrest report states that Randle was caught on video placing a bottle of Gucci Guilty Black cologne and a pack of Polo underwear in a bag he brought with him.

The Cowboys have had a strict no tolerance policy to any conduct detrimental to the team this season. Randle was fined a weeks pay, which amouonts to $29,117 dollars. He will play at home against the Giants on Sunday as the Cowboys prefer to keep Lance Dunbar as the change of pace back.

Randle has said he is “ready to take full responsibility” for his actions and is ready to “move on” from this ugly incident. As Randle stated "It was hard coming back into the locker room, looking at people who care about me in the eyes, knowing that I did something stupid. I had to talk to them about it. I can't just go like nothing happened. I had to address the issues. We're trying to move forward from it. This is not a distraction from the team. We're just trying to get ready and keeping winning like we have been doing and play our rival team, the Giants, this week. That's what we're trying to focus on."
