Curry Crushes, Warriors stay gold

Steph Curry and the Golden State Warriors punished the Dallas Mavericks last night. Curry had a season high 51points and brought the Warriors back from a 22 point deficit. Curry was 10-16 from the 3 point line and 16 of 26 overall. Curry scored 26 points in the third quarter alone. It wasn’t Splash Brother Klay Thompson’s record-setting 37 numbers, but it was an aerial display for the ages nonetheless. The Mavericks were without star point guard Rajon Rondo again.

The last time Curry had this type of performance was at Madison Square Garden on February 27, 2013. In that game he had 54 points and 11 treys but it was in a four point loss to the New York Knicks. This time Curry went to work in the 4th quarter with chants of MVP boosting his focus. Curry’s teammates also found themselves on fire as Klay Thompson had 18 points, Marreese Speights, and Leandro Barbosa scored 14 points off the bench.

The Splash Brothers continue to impress and set another amazing benchmark:

The Warriors are 23-2 at home.
