Cowboys Ownership Triples Down On Anthem Policy

The Dallas Cowboys have demonstrated that they’re going to keep beating this issue to the ground with their insane punishments for players protesting racial inequality.

In an interview with radio station KTCK 96.7 FM, CEO Stephen Jones suggested that players would get cut if they protested during the national anthem. When asked about whether he thought all players would fall in line, Jones said, If they want to be a Dallas Cowboy, yes.

This was after Jerry Jones said he was sticking with the Papa John’s and would be against players staying in the locker room during the anthem.

Of course, Donald Trump jumped on the same, tired, cultural war bandwagon.

Way to go Jerry. This is what the league should do! https://t.co/yEP1jK57xi

These NFL owners are doing their best to give this story more attention even as they say they don’t want it to. Absurdity all around.
