Cowboys’ Dez Bryant to miss 4-6 weeks with broken foot

The high of the Cowboys 27-26 come from behind thriller over the Giants was short lived after news was released that superstar receiver Dez Bryant will be out 4-6 weeks due to a broken bone in his foot that will require surgery to repair.

Dez was not really a factor in last nights game, leaving early after showing symptoms of dehydration, and ultimately hauling in only 5 catches for 48 yards. But its no secret that his absence will expose a Dallas team that relies on no. 88 for the bulk of its offense. Bryants presence alone garners the respect of any defense and without the best receiver in the game everything will have to fall on a seemingly more mature Tony Romo and a running back rotation that looked good behind that offensive line. Dezs on field AND off field leadership will be missed. He was shown in the tunnel after the nail-biting win hobbling around and cheering on teammates and coaching staff.

Dallas fans will be hoping that the team can keep the mojo going without Dez up until the bye week when he could possibly return, along with monster defensive end Greg Hardy.
