Chris Bosh Joins TNT As A Studio Analyst

Chris Bosh hasnt totally abandoned his goal of returning to the NBA, but the two-time champion and 11-time All-Star will begin laying the groundwork for a post-NBA career in broadcasting. Bosh will offer his valued professional insight as a studio analyst for TNT’s NBA coverage.

NBA on TNT welcomed Bosh to the fam on Twitter.

According to reports, Boshs gig will last five weeks and coincides with the “likely timing of [the] Heat attempting to shed [Bosh’s] cap hit.”

NBA.com said in a release that Bosh will be appearing on a new TNT studio show Players Only when it debuts on February 27 with Chris Webber, Isiah Thomas and Baron Davis:

The Players Only series is centered on showcasing the game exclusively through the unique lens of the professional basketball player. Each nights NBA coverage will incorporate a more conversational delivery and broader NBA player integrations into the telecasts to offer viewers an entertaining narrative and deeper insights into the game directly from the athletes perspective. All commentators appearing as part of Players Only are current and/or former professional players.

The show will air at 7 p.m. ET on Mondays for five weeks prior to the start of TNT’s doubleheader coverage.

Bosh joins the onslaught of former NBA superstars who have paved TV careers out of years of success and notoriety on the court.
