CBS Orders ‘Million Dollar Mile’ Series From LeBron James, Mav Carter

LeBron James and Maverick Carter‘s production company, SpringHill Entertainment, is proving to be a powerhouse within the entertainment space.

The company secured a 10-episode deal with CBS for its new, competitive show titled Million Dollar Mile.

According to Deadline, this series is a competitive program that will challenge everyday athletes’ physical and mental toughness.

“The streets of a major city are shut down and the Million Dollar Mile course goes up. Per producers, in this unprecedented television event series, contestants will have the chance to win $1,000,000 every time they run the Million Dollar Mile. Standing in their way is the most challenging course ever designed and a group of elite athletes with one mission stop the contestants from winning the money at all costs.”

Big Brother producer, Fly on the Wall Entertainment, and Warner Horizon Unscripted & Alternative Television will be collaborating with James on this project. And for a star who’s championship rings almost match the number of times he’s switched NBA teams, it doesn’t come as a surprise he has multiple television show series dropping, along with the opening of a brand new school.

Showtime recently announced James’ upcoming three-part docu-series called Shut Up and Dribble, which is set to air in October.

SpringHill’s YouTube Originals Series,  Best Shot with Jay Williams is currently gathering rave reviews.

Clearly, LeBron is not only trying to be the greatest ever on the court, but off the court too.
